What if I change my mind after I have paid?
Once payments are made they are typically non-refundable, because hotel rooms, transportation, and services in Saudi Arabia must be secured well in advance and are non-refundable to us at that stage.
Full payment and cancellation terms are shown on the Dar El Salam Travel (DST) registration page before you complete your booking, so you can review everything before you commit.
Are there any discounts available to AlMaghrib students?
Unfortunately, there are no additional discounts. We have tried to provide the best balance in terms of price, logistics and comfort for all travelers. Of course, you should expect no less than an excellent program from AlMaghrib Institute.
What will be the role of AlMaghrib Institute instructors and their involvement with the group?
All the instructors will be in charge of all religious affairs for the group. They will accompany the group and will also provide regular lectures and training about Umrah. Additionally, there will be plenty of time to meet with them during the trip. Group leaders will be your first point of contact for administrative and logistical issues while you travel.
How is Umrah different from Hajj?
Umrah training and workshops will be provided by AlMaghrib Institute before and during the trip. Hajj has many different rituals and can only be made during a specific time of the year. Umrah can be performed anytime of the year and only takes a few hours.

What are the hotel check-in and check-out times?
Hotel check-in and check-out times will be confirmed once the October 2026 itinerary is finalised.
Can I add on other places to visit before or after the Umrah?
Yes, but this is the sole responsibility of the traveler to make their own arrangements. This trip covers only the advertised dates for travel.
If you wish to extend your trip at the beginning or end, then you can reach out to Dar El Salam travel to enquire if arrangements can be made, but please be aware that it may not be at the same hotel that we are staying in and the rates may change due to the time of the year.

Are children allowed to go for Umrah?
From a fiqh perspective, yes they are allowed to go. Also, please use your best judgment on traveling and performing Umrah with infants and small children.
When will the complete Blessed Voyage itinerary become available?
We will release the full October 2026 itinerary as soon as possible, before departure.
Can a non-married woman, or one not travelling with a male relative, make Umrah?
Yes.
How do I check eligibility for a tourist visa?
By default, the package includes a tourist visa which has a one-year multiple entry, 90 days maximum stay for each visit.
To process your visa, please send scanned passport copies and a passport-sized picture of each traveler to blessedvoyage@almaghrib.org.
If your country is not listed here, then you can apply yourselves for a visa and we will refund the visa cost as part of your package or email us above and we will be able to apply for you. Please note that there is an extra cost for this.

Will someone meet or drop me at the airport for arrivals and departure?
Yes. Our ground team coordinates airport pickups and drop offs during designated arrival and departure windows.
