How Your Trip is Operated — DST-Partnered vs Directly-Operated
Blessed Voyage runs two types of trips. It is important that you understand which type applies to your booking, as this determines the registration platform, the operational terms, and the service provider responsible for your trip logistics.
| DST-Partnered Trips (current examples: Umrah, Spain, Morocco, and any trip where registration is through DST’s platform)
DST World Travel is the programme operator for these trips. DST handles all travel logistics including flights (where included), accommodation, ground transportation, entrance fees, and on-ground support. Registration for these trips is completed through DST’s booking platform. By booking a DST-Partnered Trip, you enter into a separate contract with DST World Travel in addition to these Terms. DST’s own terms and conditions and service provider terms apply to the operational delivery of your trip. Blessed Voyage acts as the programme promoter and community partner for these trips — we select the spiritual guide, curate the educational content, and maintain the AlMaghrib community experience. Questions about operational logistics, flight arrangements, hotel queries, and ground services for DST-Partnered Trips should be directed to DST World Travel. |
| Directly-Operated Trips (current examples: Bosnia, Japan, and any trip where registration is through a Blessed Voyage JotForm or AlMaghrib checkout)
For Directly-Operated Trips, Blessed Voyage organises and manages the trip in partnership with trusted local guides and service providers in the destination country. There is no DST involvement in these trips. All registration is through Blessed Voyage’s own registration forms. These Terms govern your entire booking. Blessed Voyage is the contracting party responsible for the delivery of the programme. Local service providers (hotels, guides, coaches, venues) are engaged directly by Blessed Voyage as third-party service providers. |
The trip page for each destination will clearly indicate which model applies. If you are unsure which type of trip you are booking, contact us at blessedvoyage@almaghrib.org before completing registration.

Blessed Voyage’s Role
Blessed Voyage is not a government agency and is not associated with any United States, Canadian, United Kingdom, or foreign government office or embassy. BV is not responsible for the granting or denial of visas, entry clearance, or any other government-issued document.
For DST-Partnered Trips, Blessed Voyage acts as a booking facilitator and community programme partner. The operational delivery of the trip is the responsibility of DST World Travel. For Directly-Operated Trips, Blessed Voyage acts as the tour operator and is responsible for the programme as delivered through its contracted local guides and service providers.
Many services in your trip — including accommodation, meals, transportation, and entrance fees — are provided by independent third-party service providers. These providers operate under their own terms and conditions, which may limit or exclude their liability to you. Blessed Voyage is not liable for the acts, omissions, errors, or negligence of third-party service providers, except where Blessed Voyage has been negligent in its selection of those providers.

Registration and Eligibility
By completing registration you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age, or you are a minor travelling with a registered parent or legal guardian;
- All information provided at registration is accurate, complete, and up to date;
- Where you are registering on behalf of other travellers, you are authorised to bind those individuals to these Terms and have provided them with a copy;
- You are in good physical and mental health and are capable of participating in the activities described in the trip itinerary;
- You have researched the destination and are satisfied that you meet any physical, health, or fitness requirements for the activities included.
Blessed Voyage reserves the right to refuse or cancel any registration at its sole discretion, including where information provided is inaccurate, where a traveller’s health or conduct poses a risk to other participants, or for any other reasonable cause.
-
Payment, Deposits and Fees
All payments are processed by credit or debit card. Blessed Voyage does not accept payment by cheque, money order, or bank transfer unless separately confirmed in writing. Your registration is not confirmed until payment has been received and a confirmation is issued by Blessed Voyage or DST World Travel (for DST-Partnered Trips).
For Directly-Operated Trips: a non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. The deposit amount will be stated on the trip registration form. Some trips offer an instalment payment plan, allowing the remaining balance to be spread across a number of scheduled payments — this will be clearly indicated on the registration form where available. Not all trips offer an instalment option; where no instalment plan is offered, full payment is due at the time of registration or by the date stated on the form. Where an instalment plan is available and selected, the remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card provided at registration on the scheduled dates, which will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
For DST-Partnered Trips: deposit and payment terms are set by DST World Travel and will be communicated through DST’s registration platform. Blessed Voyage is not responsible for payment disputes on DST-Partnered Trips.
All prices advertised on blessedvoyage.com are stated in the currency indicated on the trip page and are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change prior to booking confirmation. Once your booking is confirmed, your price is locked.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Directly-Operated Trips
A refund window is available for Directly-Operated Trips (Bosnia, Japan, and any trip operated solely by Blessed Voyage). The specific refund deadline for each trip will be stated on the trip’s JotForm registration form. As a general guide, refunds are considered where a cancellation request is made at least three to four months prior to the trip departure date, as this gives Blessed Voyage sufficient time to market the available spot and secure a replacement traveller. Refund requests received after the stated deadline will not be accepted.
To request a refund, please email blessedvoyage@almaghrib.org with your full name, trip details, and reason for cancellation. If you require further information about the refund window for a specific trip before registering, you may also contact us at the same address or refer to the trip FAQ page. All approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days.
No refund will be issued for cancellations made after the stated refund deadline, for failure to attend, for early departure from the trip, or for unused services. Visa refusal does not entitle the traveller to a refund.
DST-Partnered Trips
For DST-Partnered Trips (Umrah, Spain, Morocco, and any trip operated by DST World Travel), the cancellation and refund policy is governed by DST World Travel’s terms and conditions, which will be presented at the time of booking through DST’s platform. Blessed Voyage does not process refunds for DST-Partnered Trips. For queries, contact blessedvoyage@almaghrib.org and we will direct you to the appropriate DST contact.
Organiser cancellation (Directly-Operated Trips only)
If Blessed Voyage cancels a Directly-Operated Trip in its entirety prior to departure, registered travellers will receive a full refund of all amounts paid to Blessed Voyage. Blessed Voyage’s liability in this circumstance is limited to the registration fees paid and does not extend to independently booked flights, accommodation, visa fees, or other consequential costs.
Force majeure
Blessed Voyage is not liable for failure to operate any trip, in whole or in part, due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control including acts of God, extreme weather events, government restrictions, border closures, civil unrest, acts of terrorism, pandemic-level health restrictions, or the sudden incapacity of key personnel. In such circumstances Blessed Voyage will endeavour to provide a substitute programme of equivalent value where reasonably possible. No refund will be issued for partial disruption caused by force majeure events.
Itinerary changes
Blessed Voyage reserves the right to modify trip itineraries, accommodation, transportation arrangements, and activities as required by operational circumstances. Reasonable modifications do not constitute a material change and do not entitle the traveller to a refund or cancellation right.
-
Transfers
Requests to transfer a registration to another individual will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Transfers are not guaranteed and Blessed Voyage reserves the right to decline any transfer request at its sole discretion. Where the original registrant is unable to attend, a transfer to another person may be considered if the request is made within a reasonable timeframe before the trip and Blessed Voyage is able to verify the suitability of the replacement traveller. Blessed Voyage cannot guarantee that a transfer will be possible in any given circumstance.
To request a transfer, please contact blessedvoyage@almaghrib.org with full details of your situation. Any approved transfer may be subject to an administrative fee. If a transfer request is declined, the original cancellation and refund policy in Section 6 will apply.
-
Travel Insurance
All Blessed Voyage travellers are strongly advised to hold comprehensive travel insurance before their trip. At a minimum, your policy should cover:
- Trip cancellation and curtailment
- Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
- Personal baggage and belongings
- Travel delays and missed connections
- Personal liability
Blessed Voyage is not liable for any costs or losses that would have been covered by adequate travel insurance. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance at the time of booking to maximise cancellation coverage.
-
Health, Fitness and Medical
By registering for a Blessed Voyage trip you confirm that you are in good physical and mental health and are capable of participating in the activities included in your trip itinerary. It is your responsibility to research all destinations and activities to ensure you meet any fitness or health requirements.
You agree to disclose any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or allergies that may affect your participation or the wellbeing of other travellers at the time of registration. Blessed Voyage will use this information to make reasonable accommodations where possible.
Blessed Voyage reserves the right to refuse participation, remove a traveller from the trip, or restrict access to any activity where, in its reasonable opinion, a traveller’s physical or mental condition poses a risk to their own safety or the safety of others. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
An emergency contact name and telephone number must be provided by all travellers at the time of registration. Blessed Voyage may contact this person in the event of a medical emergency.
-
Safety and Risk
International travel involves inherent risks. By booking a Blessed Voyage trip you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of travel, which may include but are not limited to:
- Travel by air, road, rail, or sea
- Participation in physical activities and visits to historical or remote locations

- Exposure to infectious disease, extreme weather, or natural events
- Variation in the standard of local medical facilities compared to your home country
Blessed Voyage will use reasonable efforts to mitigate known risks and to communicate safety information to travellers. However, Blessed Voyage has no liability for losses, injury, death, or damage arising from inherent travel risks or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
-
Visa, Passport and Entry Requirements
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you hold a valid passport and any visa or entry clearance required for your destination. Blessed Voyage will provide an official invitation letter for visa application purposes upon written request to blessedvoyage@almaghrib.org. Providing an invitation letter does not constitute a guarantee of visa approval. Visa refusal does not entitle the traveller to a refund.
You must ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended return date. Blessed Voyage is not liable for any costs, losses, or disruption arising from inadequate travel documentation.
-
Flights and Independent Travel Arrangements
Unless explicitly stated as part of the package for your specific trip, flights are not included in your Blessed Voyage package. You are responsible for arranging and funding your own flights to and from the trip departure point. Blessed Voyage is not responsible for missed, late, or changed flights, or any disruption to your independent travel arrangements. If you miss the group departure, any additional costs incurred to rejoin the group are your sole responsibility.
-
Spiritual Guide and Programme Content
Blessed Voyage endeavours to deliver the trip programme as advertised, including all named spiritual guides. However, Blessed Voyage reserves the right to substitute any named guide in the event of illness, travel disruption, or any other unforeseen circumstance. Guide substitution does not constitute a material change and does not entitle the traveller to a refund.
-
Attendee Conduct and Removal
All Blessed Voyage travellers are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with Islamic etiquette and to respect fellow travellers, local communities, cultural and religious sites, and Blessed Voyage staff throughout the trip. Blessed Voyage reserves the right to remove any traveller from the trip, without refund, where their behaviour is deemed to be:
- Disruptive, threatening, or abusive towards any person
- Disrespectful of local customs, religious sites, or cultural norms
- In violation of the laws of the destination country
- Detrimental to the safety or wellbeing of other travellers or staff
- Otherwise incompatible with the values and standards of Blessed Voyage
All costs arising from removal, including return travel arrangements, are the sole responsibility of the removed traveller. Decisions regarding removal are final.
-
Photography and Use of Images
By registering for a Blessed Voyage trip, you consent to being photographed and filmed by Blessed Voyage and its authorised photographers during the trip. Photographs and video footage may be used in our promotional materials, social media, website content, and marketing communications for Blessed Voyage.
If you do not wish your image to be used in marketing materials, please contact us at blessedvoyage@almaghrib.org at any time. We will honour your request and remove you from all future marketing use of images across current and future Blessed Voyage trips. Requests will be processed promptly and your preference will be noted on your registration record.
Blessed Voyage does not sell identifiable images of travellers to third parties for commercial purposes.
-
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Blessed Voyage’s total liability to any traveller in connection with any trip shall not exceed the total amount paid by that traveller for the trip. Blessed Voyage shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of enjoyment, loss of income, or loss of opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Blessed Voyage’s liability for death or personal injury caused by Blessed Voyage’s own negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these Terms.
-
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Blessed Voyage and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your deliberate misconduct during a trip. This indemnification obligation does not apply to losses caused by Blessed Voyage’s own negligence.
-

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Texas, except that nothing in this clause prevents a consumer from bringing proceedings in the courts of their country of habitual residence where required by local law.
For travellers resident in the United Kingdom: these Terms are subject to applicable UK consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (where applicable). For travellers resident in Canada: these Terms are subject to applicable Canadian provincial consumer protection legislation. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits your statutory rights under applicable Canadian law.
-
Changes to These Terms
Blessed Voyage reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Where changes are material to your rights, registered travellers with upcoming trips will be notified by email at least 14 days before changes take effect. Current Terms are always available at blessedvoyage.com/terms/.

Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with your completed registration form and (for DST-Partnered Trips) DST World Travel’s applicable terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Blessed Voyage in relation to your trip and supersede all prior communications and representations.
| BY COMPLETING REGISTRATION AND MAKING PAYMENT, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THESE TERMS IN FULL AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 6. |
