Your Guide On This Trip

Shaykh Daood Butt completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Da’wah and Usool Al-Deen from the Islamic University of Madinah and his Master of Arts degree in Islamic and Other Civilizations from the ISTAC, International Islamic University of Malaysia. He is currently the Director of Community Outreach and Education at the Islamic Community Centre of Milton, and serves as the Muslim Chaplain at the Milton District Hospital and the Maplehurst Correctional Complex. He is a guest instructor with AlMaghrib Institute as part of our annual Ramadan360 program.

What does my Blessed Voyage Morocco Land-Only package include?

Your land-only package includes the following: 

  • 7 nights and 8 days hotel stay.  No flights or airfare is included. 
  • Premium hotels in Morocco with breakfast and dinner included at all hotels

How should I purchase my airline tickets for the trip to Morocco?

You will be responsible to purchase a roundtrip international airline ticket from a home airport of your choice.

Do I need a visa, before departure, to enter Morocco?

US/UK citizens don’t need a visa to travel to Morocco for visits under 90 daysHowever, they must have a valid passport with at least one blank page and a return or onward ticket.

When will you provide more details about hotels?

Hotels in each location are being finalized and you will receive further information closer to the trip.  We guarantee we will use 4- or 5-star hotels that have free breakfast available and modern European amenities. Breakfast and Dinner are included for all days except arrival day where only dinner is included and departure day where only breakfast is included.

When does the “early bird” discount end?

Save $100 USD by signing up to the early bird which ends on  March 1st, 2025  

What if I change my mind after I’ve paid? What is the refund policy?

For this April  2025 Morocco trip, please review the following:

Full Refunds* are available up until 11th March 2025 
Cancellation received via email on and after March 12th – No Refunds. This is non-negotiable as payments to hotels will have already been given to book your reservation. 
– (Travel Insurance is highly recommended)

*any cancellations to trips must be requested via email at blessedvoyage@almaghrib.org within the dates above to receive the stated refunds. Cancellations requests through whatsapp, or other means will not be accepted as a confirmation of your refund request.

Please ensure you have asked all necessary questions and have all the information you require before making payment.

Are there any special discounts available to students of AlMaghrib Institute?

Unfortunately, there are no additional discounts. We have tried to provide the best balance in terms of price, logistics and comfort for all travelers.  Of course, you should expect no less than an excellent program from AlMaghrib Institute.

What will be the role of the AlMaghrib Institute instructors and involvement with the group?

The instructors will be in charge of all religious affairs for the group and delivering religious based historical programming while in Morocco.  They will accompany the group and will also provide regular lectures and interaction alongside a local tour guide.  Additionally, there will be plenty of time to meet with instructors during the trip.  Group leaders will manage administrative issues including questions about the hotels. Local guides will also be accompanying the trip.

Can I add on other places to visit before or after Morocco?

This is at your discretion and you must arrange your own flight itinerary accordingly.

Please note that you will need to arrange your own hotel stay and transport including airport transfers if you decide to come earlier or leave later.

Our trip will only cover your stay and amenities from the dates specified for travel

Are children allowed to go to Morocco?

Yes, children are allowed on the trip and the per person charge is a percentage dependent on the age of the child. Please reach out to blessedvoyage@almaghrib.org for further information.

Also, please use your best judgment on traveling internationally with infants and small children. We recommend purchasing international travel health insurance for the trip for every family member and obeying all local and international laws and regulations.

When will the complete Blessed Voyage program for Morocco become available?

You will receive all relevant information in due course before your departure. We do not want to overwhelm you with everything in one go! But we will be phasing everything in stages.
